The conference “High Voltage Substations – Applications, Operation and Experience” is still very popular. Manufacturers and users of SF6 high-voltage switchgear and research facilities will have the opportunity to exchange current contributions on different topics relating to gas-insulated systems.
The main areas of the conference are the following topics:
1. Transmission grid expansion and new technical developments:
Solutions for speeding up construction and approval, systems for higher operating and short-circuit currents, new GIS switchgear concepts, offshore systems, current developments and projects in the context of grid expansion
2. Insulating- and switching gases
SF6 and SF6 gas mixtures, alternative insulating gases and extinguishing media, alternative switch concepts, legal and political framework
3. Asset management:
Service life expectancy of equipment, maintenance and retrofitting, monitoring and diagnostic procedures including PD measuring systems, system service, digitization
4. Operating experience:
AC and DC GIS, hybrid systems, gas-insulated lines (GIL), exposure to special electrical and environmental stresses, old systems, resilience of GIS, accident, fault and spare parts concepts
In particular, praxis oriented presentations on your everyday working life are warmly welcomed, as exchange of experiences is one of our most important centerlines. Thereby we would especially encourage grid operators and users to register contributions. If further topics are of interest we welcome a short message on that as well.
People working exclusively in their daily work, as well as representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, should feel encouraged to share their topics in the form of a presentation followed by discussion with the participants.
The lecture time is 20 minutes + 10 minutes of discussion.
The contribution will be made available to all conference participants via a password-protected link. For this purpose, the presentation is usually published, the preparation of a written paper is optional.
An elaborated scientific paper can, but does not have to be, submitted.
The language of the presentation and the presentation slides should be German. Lectures and slides in English are only possible in coordination with the conference management.
