Electrical Energy Excursion

Announcement

The electrical energy excursion will take place on different monday afternoons in summer semester 2023.

By participating in the excursion electrical engineering students have the possibility to improve their knowledge about electrical energy systems.

The excursion is organized by the electrical energy departments of the Technische Universität Darmstadt and has annually changing destinations. Therefore, the main focus lies on production, conversion and consumption of electrical energy. To offer our students an overview of different processes and available solutions for technological problems, various manufacturers, power plants and high voltage substations are visited.

Besides the mentioned technical aspects the excursion also enables students to visited possible employers in the energy industry.

Simultaneously, the excursion improves relationships between students and different electrical energy departments, because the professors of the institutes as well as some research associates will also participate.
